My Husband and I experienced a little piece of life together as we saw our little munchkin for the first time during our initial ultrasound visit. It was a rewarding, momentous, yet surreal occasion. I was so thankful my Husband has me drinking about 74 oz. of water a day because my bladder was nice and full, which helps the ultrasound machine pick up a clear picture of the baby.
We were tracking Baby Antongiorgi (AG) at 10 weeks, but when the nurse calculated the measurements, she said we're 11 weeks and 3 days along! Wow, how did I miss a whole week? A lot of articles will try to promote proper pregnancy announcement etiquette. Meaning after 12 weeks, because the chances of a miscarriage drop, you should wait until that time to announce to family/friends/etc. We don't believe in that. "But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind." James 1:6. #FAITH
My Husband held my hand as we watched this little blessing move and jump around in the lower section of my abdomen, it was thrilling to watch! Baby AG's arms and legs were punching and kicking, and at this point I'm just thinking about the trouble my poor little frame is going to be in as the weeks go by. The heartbeat was a healthy 172 beats per minute! We're so ecstatic about the progress thus far. As crazy as it sounds, I'm looking forward to seeing these abs go bye-bye and saying hello to my little bump.
